Silflor / Mininatur grass tufts are the best and simplest method of recreating grass tufts for railway modellers, wargames, military modellers and diorama and dollhouse enthusiasts.
Made from tightly bunched groups of static-grass, or flock, they are fixed onto randomly sized and shaped bases of glue on clear plastic backing. To apply them you simply pluck off the tuft you want, add a spot of glue to the base of it and fix it down onto your model or figure base.
It doesn’t come much easier than that and the results are quite literally second-to-none.
The tufts come in a variety of colours, heights and combinations of the two.
The image shows this size of tuft up against an un-based “15mm” wargames figures as an indication of size and colour.
For non-wargamers the figure shown has an actual total height or approximately 22mm.
