The Technosphere Peace Enforcement Agency is one of two military departments within the Agency, the other being the Technosphere Defence Force.

T-PEA units are stationed within every Habitat and larger society in the Technosphere and deal with matters directly relating to enforcement of the Governance Laws within the borders of the Technosphere. This is generally regarding smuggling and espionage relating to illegal technologies, breaches of Charter Laws, illegal genetics and other similar “tech” Laws.

T-PEA forces rarely get involved in non-Governance incidents, although it has been known for local governments to call upon T-PEA forces for support when combating criminal activities utilising higher-TQ technologies. Even that role is now becoming rare as the T-PF (Technosphere Police Force) become more involved in “local” issues and become more militarised whilst distancing themselves from the main GOT Agency body.

T-PEA forces do actively support T-TD and T-PF agents though and their role as “bodyguard” to T-TD technicians has become their most common day-to-day activity. Despite the reduction in status and activity, the T-PEA remains the healthiest, best-trained, best-equipped and best-educated military anywhere within the Technosphere.
