Stepped Tenements. A residential building for the denizens of Undertown to dwell, this low-tech low-cost housing has external staircases to allow the residents to walk up to their desired level. The small rooms and tight corridors of the Stepped Tenements make for uncomfortable living conditions. Stepped Tenements is a rectangular 3 floor building, each level is split into two rooms and a corridor, with a staircase at the end of each corridor to take you to the next level up, with the last set of stairs giving access to the roof.
The Stepped Tenements follow the design features and style set out in the Undertown Kickstarter. This includes a flat roof without a cover giving lip, walls that don’t have buttresses, hinged doors that can open and close, and internal walls. Stepped Tenements has two rooms on every floor that have a hinged door giving access to the corridors.
Stepped Tenements is a complete kit with pre-painted MDF, the MDF follows a grey and gold colour scheme, with grey on the external wall faces, and a dull gold on the internal wall faces, door and window frames.
